AFRICA

Africa's biodiversity, which ranges from the Sahara desert to tropical jungle, from snow-capped volcanic Mount Kilimanjaro to the beaches of East and West Africa, may be its greatest asset.

There is the excitement of stalking big game in the African bush, the thrill of whitewater rafting through the gorges below Victoria Falls, and the awe of seeing the Egyptian pyramids at sunrise. Ecotourism provides leisure complexes that take advantage of game parks, golf courses, beaches and beautiful scenery. Adrenalin junkies can raft the rapids on some of the world's biggest rivers, plunge from the highest bungee jump, or climb a snow-capped volcanic peak on the equator.

For the less adventurous, there are beaches along most of Africa's coastline, fabulous African golf courses, and places to sip a cocktail while watching the red African sun set over a waterhole as elephants come down to drink. Then there are those familiar African tourist attractions such as Egypt's Pyramids in the North, Cape Town's Table Mountain in the South, the mysterious markets of Timbuktu and Marrakesh in the West, and the coral reefs of Zanzibar and Nosey Be in the East.

BOTSWANA

Botswana, situated in Southern Africa, has some of Africa's last great wildernesses including the famous Okavango Swamps and the Kalahari desert and is the largest exporter of gemstone diamonds in the world. CAPE TOWN AND SOUTH AFRICA

A journey through South Africa will take your breath away and create memories that will last forever. Cape Town is southern Africa's most beautiful, most romantic and most-visited city and Table Mountain is the city's solid core which divides the city into distinct zones. Johannesburg's contrasts are some of the most extreme in the world and yet the city as a whole continues to suck in people and skills from all over the country, making it the financial, commercial and cultural powerhouse of South Africa. ARGENTINA - BARILOCHE

San Carlos de Bariloche is situated on the southern shore of lake Nahuel Huapi, within the Nahuel Huapi National Park. It is the second most populated city of Río Negro province and is one of the most important tourist centers of Argentina. Bariloche has a wide variety of activities to offer, for relaxation or recreation. BHUTAN

Bhutan is a country nestled in the eastern Himalayas. Like many other countries of Western Europe, Croatia too developed in an area that once made part of the Roman Empire. The Croats established their own princedom as early as the 7th century and founded an independent state in the 9th century. In the 10th century the Kingdom of the Croats came into being, ruled by the national kings. From the time of the conversion to Christianity, which was completed in the 9th century, the Croats became a part of the society of Western Europe.

Visit the atmospheric souk of Aleppo and the ancient city of Damascus, the beautiful hidden mountain monastery of Mar Moussa and a stunning desert palace. For the more active, there is time to swim - or float - in the Dead Sea, snorkel over the coral reefs of the Red Sea, and take a 4WD into the amazing landscape of Wadi Rum and spend a night under the stars. The highlight of any vacation is likely to be the magnificent “Rose-red City” of Petra, carved directly into the rocks of southern Jordan, a true wonder of the world. Add the immense ruins of Palmyra, the fantastic Roman sites of Baalbek and Jerash, and the Crusader sea-castle at Sidon and you’ll have all the ingredients for an unforgettable Middle Eastern experience.

DUBAI AND UAE

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a union of seven sovereign sheikhdoms, formed when the British withdrew from the Gulf in 1971. It boasts mountains, beaches, deserts, oases, camel racing, Bedouin markets and the legendary duty-free shopping of Dubai, all packed into a relatively small area. It also has the most relaxed entry regulations in the region as well as the best tourist infrastructure.

ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM

Everyone has their own perception of what Israel is about: it’s a package of beaches and sun; it’s the Promised Land of the Jews; it’s the birthplace of Christ. And while it is all of these things, it's much more. Israel is a bustling, noisy, modern country. It’s best not to arrive with preconceptions of spiritual epiphany at the risk of missing the best this fascinating country has to offer. To understand Israel, visit the new, cosmopolitan city of Tel Aviv, dive the Red Sea at Eilat, explore some of the country's thriving national parks and float for hours in the salty stillness of the Dead Sea.

SOUTH PACIFIC

The South Pacific, a delightful package of pleasant surprises, includes Fiji, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Norfolk Island, New Caledonia, Tonga, Solomon Islands, and Rarotonga. Australia's biggest attraction is its natural beauty. The landscape varies from endless sunbaked horizons to dense tropical rainforest to chilly southern beaches.
